Basketball/Cheerleading

Today is the first day of the Upwards basketball/ cheerleading season. We lucked out with Zachary and Courtney having the same game time. Ben is later this afternoon. Zachary and Courtney both did great. Zachary is quite a defender out on the court. He even came very close to making a couple of baskets. Courtney did very well considering she usually doesn't do much in these types of situations. She knows the cheers and will correct them if Andy and I say them wrong. Yesterday, she fell on the way to the bus stop and scraped her knee up so I guess we're lucky she was willing to stand at all. Courtney made Andy carry her through the house last night when she wasn't limping around holding the edge of her skort up. She's such a funny little girl. Anyway, here are a video or two and some pictures.

Disney

We made a brief detour on the way home from Jacksonville and spent a little time at Disney. It was cold and crowded, but we had a nice time.

We had a great time at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville on January 1, 2010. Luckily, the rain stopped prior to game time so we only had to deal with the cold temperatures. Here are some pictures of the kids at the game.
