Easter Egg Hunt at First Presbyterian of North Palm Beach
Saturday, we spent the morning at First Pres' annual Easter Egg Hunt. It's actually very fun. They have hunts structured by age and tons of eggs so the kids love it. This year, third and fourth graders participated in a scavenger hunt. We took Ben's friend, Eric, with us. Ben and Eric had to visit each of the game stations to find the clues. All 4 kids loved playing the various games and winning prizes. Zack and Courtney had fun doing their egg hunts. The petting zoo was a big hit. The kids even posed with the Easter Bunny!
Dyeing Easter Eggs
On Good Friday, I took the kids to Miami to dye Easter eggs. We left right after getting Zachary's cast removed. Oh, what a great day! It is taking him some time to get used to the fact that he can use his right hand again. Anyway, the egg dyeing was fun. Kevin and Olivia brought Jack over and he had a great time throwing eggs into dye and freaking out when his fingers turned blue and green. Ben, Zack, and Courtney were in a rush to get finished and get back into the very chilly pool. The good thing about dyeing Easter eggs and getting straight into the pool is that the pesky dye comes right off those fingers!
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
We went to the annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on March 27, 2010. Nordstroms at Dadeland in Miami hosts it in their restaurant. It's always a very nice experience. This year, the kids had a blast coloring Easter placemats with dry erase markers. After breakfast and a picture with the Easter Bunny, we went down to the children's department where they had a dj and more pictures with the Easter Bunny. They had the Easter Bunny sitting so the kids could go visit him for a picture. The kids were really cute. Grandma, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Olivia and cousin Jack went with us. Next year, their baby girl will be joining us. I hope she likes me as much as Jack does. Oh, I adore my nephew/godson. He is adorable and so funny.
