For the second year in a row, Andy and I spent our anniversary with me attending a shower. This year, I was actually one of the people throwing the shower. Andy and I did manage to sneak out the night before (Saturday night) for dinner at Bahama Breeze and a movie (Inception). The dinner was great and the movie was cool.
My mom and I hosted a baby shower for my sister-in-law, Olivia. She is expecting a baby girl, Jillian Frances, next month. It was big hit and a lot of fun. I made 2 diaper cakes for them. We had the guests decorate onesies for the baby. Everyone got really into it and did a great job painting the onesies.
I LOVED the onesie decorating idea. When I saw your pics of it (or someone else's pics) I thought it was a SUPER idea. First time I've ever seen anyone do that. Maybe I'll copy it if I ever throw a baby shower again.
ReplyDeleteDiaper cakes were fantastic!! Gigantic. I guess there must be a ton of diapers in there. I make smaller ones for friends who are having a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. baby and I usually buy 1 or 2 packs of diapers. Great job. You put a lot of thought and TIME into her shower. I am sure she loved it and appreciated it.
