On December 19, 2010, we took the kids to a Dolphins game. My parents, Chad, and Renzo went too. Zachary is a BIG Dolphins fan and really enjoys going. The day started out a little on the chilly side, but turned out to be a great day to watch a football game. The Dolphins could have used a little help, but we had fun anyway.

O Christmas Trees
We had 2 trees again this year. We always put an artificial one in the family room and then a live one in the living room. This year, we re-arranged the location of the living room tree because of our trip to Naperville. The live tree was 9 feet tall and required a ladder to decorate it. It was the biggest live tree we've ever had and we love it. We also replaced some of the outdoor lights. We have LED lights for the house now.
Field Trip to St. Augustine
On December 10, 2010, I went to St. Augustine with Ben's 4th grade class. Wow, what a long day it was. We left the school around 6 am and returned about 10:30 pm. It took about 4 1/2 hours each way. The day was very interesting. We went to Ripley's Believe it or not, had Chick-fil-A for lunch, went shopping for 2 1/2 hours, went to the fort, took a trolley tour, and spent some time at the Old Florida Museum. We enjoyed it, but it would have been better if the weather had been nicer. It was cold and damp all day. It never got out of the 50's and there was a misty rain that didn't let up. After a day of tours and educational experiences, the final stop was a Cici's Pizza. The 4th graders loved every minute of it!
The Brown Family goes to Disney
The first weekend of December, the Brown family went to Disney to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday. Kevin, Olivia, Jack, and Jill were the first to get there on Friday afternoon. We got there about 30 minutes later and my parents followed about 30 minutes after that. By the time my parents arrived at the hotel, our kids had already seen Santa and sampled hot chocolate. We met Kevin's family at ESPN for dinner. The next day, we went to Disney's Hollywood Studios. We had a lot of fun. Zachary got to fight Darth Vader. He was awesome! He was the first one in his group to take on Darth Vader. We were so proud.
Chad and Luci's family joined us in the afternoon. The highlight of the day for the kids was riding the Toy Story Ride for the first time. My kids loved it. By that time, Kevin and Olivia had called it a day. The boys and I had dinner with my parents and Chad's family while Andy sat in the room and watched the FSU game while Courtney slept. The next day, everyone else headed home and we headed to Epcot.

Thanksgiving 2010
Thanksgiving came quickly. We went to Miami this year and spent it with my family. The kids and I went down Wednesday while Andy was at work. We had a big night before Thanksgiving. Courtney got her ears pierced and the kids visited Santa with Jack and Jill. They had a great time! The day after Thanksgiving, my mom and I went shopping early in the morning while Andy and the kids slept. Andy had to work so the kids spent much of the day with Grandpa. They went to the park and McDonalds. Kevin finished his shopping early and took Jack to hang out with them too. The kids and I drove home at the end of the day.
Zachary's Trophy Day!
