Zachary turned 7 on 9/1/10. It was a busy week for all of us. On August 31, 2010, Jillian Frances Brown entered the world. Olivia's due date was closer to Courtney's birthday so this was a big surprise. In addition to celebrating Zack's birthday with presents in the morning, we also took him to TGI Fridays for dinner after soccer practice. The funny thing about his birthday cake is that I made one for his actual birthday. The kids got a huge laugh out of it because the top layer caved in while I was frosting it. I managed to separate it into 2 separate one layer cakes.
Labor Day weekend brought even more celebrations as Uncle Mike, Aunt Karen, and cousin Frances came for a visit. They even went to his birthday celebration at Friendlys with his friends. We went to lunch at Friendlys followed by a viewing of Despicable Me at the Regal Cinemas. He had a few friends go with us and a good time was had by all!
The next day, we took Mike, Karen, and Frances on a tour of Palm Beach. We stopped at the beach and let the kids play a little before we went to Don Ramons for dinner. On Monday, they left for Tampa and we headed to Miami to have a family party with the Brown family. We got to meet Jilly for the first time.
It was very fun Labor Day weekend for everyone!
