Halloween was different this year. For the first time, all 3 kids really got involved with the pumpkin carving. It was really nice to have all of the help.
We also went to Royal Palm Beach's Fall Festival. We road the "hayride" to Veterans Park where the kids got to trick-or-treat, play some games, play on the playground and decorate masks and a scarecrow face.
We started our Halloween at church followed by our neighborhood Halloween party. Unfortunately, Courtney got sick and missed most of the the trick-or-treating. I took her to a couple of houses on our cul-de-sac before the boys got to go. The boys and I saved the day by taking an extra bag with us as we covered a good portion of the neighborhoold with Ben's BFF, Eric and his mom. As much as we were hoping that the cause of Courtney's illness was a combination of too much snowcone and bounce house, it turned out to be a virus that last about 5 days.
